Carly Pearce relived “one of my favorite memories ever,” with Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox.

LeVox shared a video on Instagram on Sunday (October 27) of the moment he joined Pearce on stage to perform an iconic early 2000s Rascal Flatts ballad together. The duet took place at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. LeVox said in his caption that he “can’t believe it’s been 2 years since” he and Pearce performed “What Hurts The Most” together. Pearce said it’s “one of my favorite memories ever.”

That performance took place on October 26, 2022, when Pearce made her headlining debut with two back-to-back shows at the legendary venue. The hummingbird star shared a clip of that moment on TikTok at the time, saying that she’s “forever an ultimate fan of this guy,” and thanked LeVox for joining her.

The throwback video arrives as Pearce gets ready to perform on the Ryman stage again this spring during her ongoing world tour, following the release of her fourth studio album earlier this year. It also arrives after LeVox and his Rascal Flatts bandmates — Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney — announced they’ll reunite to celebrate the band’s 25th reunion in 2025. Rascal Flatts will kick off their tour in February.
