Megan Moroney announced the release date of a previously-teased anthem about reaching a state of feeling uninterested in her ex. “Indifferent” is due on May 3, she confirmed in an announcement on Wednesday (April 17).

Moroney’s announcement arrives two days before she kicks off her “Lucky 2.0 Tour,” featuring special guest Logan Crosby, in Dothan, Alabama. Moroney’s headlining dates are interspersed with shows on Kenny Chesney’s tour, which also includes Zac Brown Band and Uncle Kracker in the lineup. The Lucky artist is also slated to perform at Stagecoach at the end of this month. She said she’s “heard y’all wanted me to play indifferent on the road,” after posting sneak peeks of the unreleased song.

“Indifferent” will follow “28th of June,” and “No Called ID.” Those releases follow Moroney’s debut album and its 16-track deluxe edition, both of which arrived last year. Lucky included the title track, “I’m Not Pretty,” “Tennessee Orange,” “Girl in the Mirror,” “Traitor Joe,” “Sad Songs For Sad People” and other highlight throughout the track list. Moroney is one of the most-nominated artists at the upcoming 59th ACM Awards, including in the Song of the Year category (“Tennessee Orange”), the Music Event of the Year category (“Can’t Break Up Now” with Old Dominion) and others.

“I've been taking every ounce of free time that I have to write and be in the studio, so I'm just keeping the ball rolling,” Moroney told iHeartCountry in a December interview, hinting at her next chapter following Lucky. “I know that my fans are excited for new music, so try to keep them happy.”
