Firefighters from Horry County, South Carolina have been called in to assist firefighters in North Carolina battle several house fires in Ocean Isle just hours after the eyewall from Hurricane Isaias passed over the town.
Horry County Fire Department tweeted at least four pictures of fires in the town.
Multiple fires reported in Ocean Isle just after Isaias made landfall
The eye of Isaias made landfall over Ocean Isle Beach around 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Horry County reported firefighters responding to the fires about two hours later.
