Luke Wilson A Hero In Bill Haas Car Crash

Luke Wilson is being called a hero after saving a woman in a fatal car crash on Tuesday. as the story goes, the crash killed a 71-year-old Mark Gibello, who was driving a Ferrari with pro golfer Bill Haas in the passenger seat. Tattoo artist Sean Heirigs was directly behind the crash and he says Wilson “led the charge” in pulling an unnamed 50-year-old woman out of her car.

Apparently, Wilson’s car was clipped in the three-car collision and he immediately went to help the woman who couldn't escape her smoking BMW. According to Heirigs, her leg was stuck and Wilson feared the woman’s car was about to catch fire. He was able to figure out a way to get her out - with Heirigs' assist. The woman was taken to the hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.

As for Haas, the six-time PGA Tour winner from Greer was also injured in the collision, but has been released from the hospital. He suffered no broken bones, but is dealing with swelling in his legs. Gibello was a member of the host family Haas was staying with while in Los Angeles for the Genesis Open. Haas has since withdrawn from the competition.
