Steven Grasse and Tamworth Distilling and Mercantile are getting ready to debut Deerslayer Whiskey which will be available November 14 and will taste like deer, mostly because there's deer in it.
In a statement, Grasse said, "No matter what the world thought 2020 would be like, it's safe to say that everyone was wrong. I have been interested in the idea of using venison as a flavoring agent for some time. The gaminess of the venison lends itself as a savory complement to the sweetness of the wheat whiskey creating a truly creative carnivorous concoction."
A bottle will set you back $65 bucks and the website describes it as a surprisingly delicate-bodied whiskey flavored with the flora and fauna of New Hampshire in autumn- specifically, venison.
