Dolly Tops Two “Billboard” Charts; She's Been In The Top Ten In 7 Decades!

Dolly Parton has a new number one album. Dolly’s holiday album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas,” moved 27,000 equivalent album units to top both the "Billboard" Top Country Albums and Top Holiday Albums charts. 

"I am so proud and humbled to have my album reach number one on the ‘Billboard’ country and holiday charts," Dolly shares. "Boy, what a great early Christmas present for me! Thanks to ‘Billboard’ and the fans."

Dolly’s new number one follows another holiday album that topped the country chart just last week. Carrie Underwood’s “My Gift” debuted in the top spot. 

·Dolly has now had a total of 46 Top Ten albums on the “Billboard” Top Country Albums Top Ten. It is her first in 2020, but she’s already had four in the 60s, 18 in the 70s, 11 in the 80s, five in the 90s, three in the 2000s and four in the 2010s.
