Alabama & Steve Wariner Among The 2019 Musicians Hall of Fame Inductees

The 2019 inductees for the Musicians Hall of Fame has just been announced, with Alabama’s Jeff Cook, Teddy Gentry, and Randy Owen, and Steve Wariner representing country music. 

Also being recognized is Owen Bradley, who produced recordings by Brenda Lee, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline, in the category of Musicians Hall of Fame Producer, while songwriter, producer, and engineer Billy Sherrill, who worked with George Jones, Tammy Wynette and more, will be honored with the 2019 Musicians Hall of Fame Engineer Award.

Other honorees this year include The Everly Brothers’Don Everly, who’ll receive the Iconic Riff Award, The Rascals’ keyboardist, Felix Cavaliere, and California surf music instrumentalists the Surfaris, who’ll receive the first-ever Musicians Hall of Fame Instrumental Song Award for their 1963 hit, “Wipe Out.” 

Inductees will be honored with a concert at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on October 22nd.
