Stars Celebrate Troy Gentry In Nashville

The late Troy Gentry was remembered this week in Nashville with a special concert at the Grand Ole Opry House. The “C’Ya On The Flipside” concert, hosted by Blake Shelton, benefited the Troy Gentry Foundation, the Opry Trust Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and a handful of other charities.

“I don’t know that I ever saw him without a smile on his face and a cup in his hand,” Blake told the crowd. “He loved life, and he was one of my heroes.” Blake wasn’t supposed to perform at the show but wound up performing an acoustic version of the song “Over You.”

Troy’s partner Eddie Montgomery also performed at the concert, as did Jimmie Allen, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Chris Janson, Tracy Lawrence, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, Rascal Flatts, Darryl Worley and more.
