Remember when Houston opened the season at 0-3 and former Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson said it was nothing to be concerned about? Well, five weeks later it seems he knew what he was talking about as Watson led the Texans to their fifth straight win last night beating the Dolphins 42-35.
And Watson had quite a bit to do with it as he threw five TD passes—including a 73-yarder to Will Fuller that put the game out of reach 28-17 late in the third as the Fins would only manage two more filed goals. Watson also threw two touchdown passes to former Clemson and Daniel High standout DeAndre Hopkins
Incidentally, the win placed the Texans a full game and a half up on Jacksonville, who opened the season 4-0 and haven’t won since. They will be in England Sunday for what may very well be Blake Bortles last game as a starter.
