George H.W. Bush Gets New Service Dog Named Sully

Former President George H.W. Bush is welcoming a new furry friend into his family. Sully H.W. Bush is a yellow Labrador service dog that has been enlisted to help the 94-year-old former president with his daily tasks. Sully can reportedly do a two-page long list of commands.  Some of these tasks include answering the phone and fetching items. Sully was trained by the Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs, which provides free service dogs to veterans. Bush 41 uses a wheelchair and has been in the hospital several times with health complications.

Sully has already garnered a growing fan base with over six-thousand Instagram followers.

In case you’re wondering, yes – the former president’s four-legged friend was named after the pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III who is known for landing a damaged plane on the Hudson River without harming any of the 155 passengers and crew on board.
