Steph Curry Scolded By Mom For Language In Game 3 Win

When it comes to dropping three point bombs, NBA star Steph Curry cannot be stopped.

But when it comes to dropping foul language, that’s another story.

Because one day after Curry celebrated his Warriors Game 3 blowout of the Rockets Sunday night by screaming, "This is my … house!" in the midst of his 18-point third quarter, his mother reminded him of the rules of the house he was raised in.

"She already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back," Curry said of his mother Sonya. "She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It's a message I've heard before."

Curry said he "blacked out" when, after driving to the net and putting up a floater for two points, he threw up his arm and shouted at the jubilant Oracle Arena before sprinting back to defend.

"She's right," he added. "I can't talk like that."

And while the two-time MVP had reason to show some emotion, pretty sure he would be the first to tell you they don’t make an award big enough to give your mom.

And what good is having two MVP awards when you’re grounded.

The Warriors and Steph Curry face the Rockets in Game 4 tonight, Momma Curry permitting.
