A prospective Charlotte Panthers' owner reportedly wants Peyton Manning to join his ownership group. South Carolina businessman Ben Navarro has reportedly contacted the former Super Bowl champ to become a limited partner. Manning was reported to have recently turned down offers from both ESPN and FOX for analyst duties. The "New York Times" says Navarro is the leading bidder for the franchise at two-point-six-billion dollars. The Panthers are on the market after team owner Jerry Richardson became embroiled in a sexual misconduct case.
