A masked Long Island robbery suspect is behind bars for a string of convenience store hold ups thanks to his own mother. Police say Marchelle Rountree's mother recognized him from surveillance video put out last weekend and convinced him to surrender. Rountree is accused of robbing at least five stores in East Patchogue, Yaphank and Holbrook between February and April, all while wearing a surgical mask. Police say Rountree is a bakery store worker who had been living with his mother.
