Shania Twain is set to kick off her new tour on May 5th in Tacoma, Washington and she’s excited to play her new album “Now” on the tour.
“I'm looking forward to this tour like no other,” she tells “First For Women.” “Being able to take this music live to everyone is surreal for me.”
As she’s said in the past, Shania went through several years where she didn’t know if she’d be able to sing again because of her battle with Lyme disease, but now she’s healthy and taking care of herself.
“I'm feeling really good. I'm feeling like I've achieved an enormous amount in the last couple of years,” she says. “I take my health seriously. There is a lot of discipline involved for me personally, eating properly, getting the right amount of rest, self-care and self-maintenance.” She adds, “You have to put the performance first and I take that very seriously.”
