Reports suggest Miranda Lambert and boyfriend Anderson East are over, and based on her on-stage banter it sure sounds like she may be dealing with some heartbreak.
A report in the "Knox News" says that during Miranda’s recent concert in Knoxville, she opened up to the crowd about how being broken hearted has influenced her music.
“I make it my mission every single time I step on the stage that no matter what, no matter where I am, I want to make you feel everything you could possibly feel,” she said before singing “Tin Man.” “I want you to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes. That’s my favorite.”
She then added, “And part of feelings is also heartbreak unfortunately, but fortunately for me, I can use it for my art or whatever. I like to write sad songs. I like to listen to sad songs, so I want to sing y’all one.”
In a happier moment of the show, Miranda reunited with her Pistol Annies bandmate Ashley Monroe for the song “Heart Like Mine,” which Monroe co-wrote for Miranda’s 2009 album “Revolution.” Check it out below!
