West Point Admits Florida Shooting Hero

A JROTC student who was killed in the Florida high school shooting is being accepted into West Point. The prestigious military academy says it has posthumously accepted 15-year-old Peter Wang. Wang's funeral was held Tuesday The junior cadet was wearing his uniform when he was killed in the mass shooting that took 17 lives at a Florida high school last week. Wang was fatally shot while he was holding the door for other students so they could escape the gunfire. Wang is also being honored with a Medal of Heroism from the U.S. Army, for "selfless and heroic actions" that "led to the survival of dozens."
