NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has given his annual State of the League address leading up to Super Bowl 52. Goodell says Minnesota has been a wonderful host and the whole world will get to see US Bank Stadium shine this weekend.
Goodell spoke with reporters for about 40 minutes yesterday, touching on various topics, including instant replay, player safety and the Rooney Rule.
Goodell says a main focus this offseason will be re-examining the catch rule to better determine what is and what isn't a catch. He also announced that the Rams and Chiefs will play in Mexico City during the 2018 regular season.
