Blake Shelton blew-up Twitter with a tweet hinting he’d be retiring soon. It’s not the first time that Blake has suggested such a thing, in May of last year he told “ET,” that his follow-up to 2016’s, “If I’m Honest,” would be his last. “I mean, that last album I made was gonna be my last — this next album I’m makin’s probably gonna be my last album,” Blake said. “So I really gotta decide what I wanna do.”
His latest tweet reads: “Watching @BruceArians life story NFL channel. … proud to call you my friend coach. Enjoy your retirement!!! I’ll be joining you REAL soon brother!!!”
Fans have been tweeting the singer their loyalty and cries for him to keep going. One fan responding with, “You CANNOT retire, country music needs you! Love your music!!!”
Blake is returning to NBC’s “The Voice,” for season 14 this February alongside Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and first timer Kelly Clarkson. He’ll also be on the road headlining the “Country Music Freaks Tour,” which kicks off February 15th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
