Stallone Buys Back Up 'Rocky' Statue

2016 LACMA Art + Film Gala Honoring Robert Irwin And Kathryn Bigelow Presented By Gucci - Red Carpet

Sylvester Stallone is now the proud owner of his very own "Rocky" statue. The 71-year-old actor shelled out 400-thousand dollars to buy a backup statue of Rocky Balboa featured in 1982's "Rocky Three." TMZ reports Stallone showed off his new purchase on Christmas Day. The statue was one of two created by artist A. Thomas Schomberg. The first is stationed in Philadelphia at the bottom of the stairs at the Museum of Art. The statue Stallone bought was recently made available for sale after spending time on display at a San Diego museum.
