Chinese City Using Facial Recognition Tech In Bathroom

One Chinese city is using facial recognition technology to cut down on toilet paper use in public bathrooms. The system in at least one bathroom in Fuzhou scans a bathroom user's face and then doles out 27 inches of T-P. It then won't give out any more toilet paper to that person for nine minutes. Apparently, the system has cut toilet paper use in half.
