Girl Celebrates 6th Birthday Feeding Homeless

Armani Crew has a motto that she lives by and it’s pretty good: “It’s nice to be nice.” So it’s really no surprise that this little girl wanted to celebrate her sixth birthday by helping those less fortunate. So instead of a party, she and her family fed the homeless in Chicago.

Armani’s mom, Artesha Smith-Crew says she thought her daughter was joking when she first mentioned it, but then she realized her little girl was completely serious. Armani told her mom, “I want to make sure they eat,” when asked what she wanted to do for her birthday. So they took their celebration to the streets.

The family set up a table with hot food and also gave away dozens of care packets and to-go boxes. And in return, little Armani got lots of happy birthdays from happy people she fed, and some even gave her cash, which her mom says will be donated to charity
