A Key West man took the Florida bar last week -- but he's not a lawyer. He's a drunk who literally took an entire bar.
The U.S. Coast Guard station received a call Wednesday morning about an intoxicated man who untethered a floating tiki hut bar and tried to sail off with it. Officers responded and found the man passed out and slumped over the steering wheel of the small bar vessel. The man was arrested on theft and drunk boating charges. The "The Squeaky Tiki" bar was only lightly damaged.
