Lauren Alaina’s wedding day has “some serious living up to do” after her induction into the Grand Ole Opry. The country star suggested that the legendary Dolly Parton could “make a video” for the ceremony, as she did for the “Road Less Traveled” artist’s induction day. Alaina made that suggestion during a recent conversation with PEOPLE — she was only partially kidding, the outlet noted — talking about her ongoing wedding planning after her heartwarming engagement announcement.

Alaina confirmed the joyous news at the Grand Ole Opry late last year, confirming that her “best friend,” Cam Arnold, is officially her fiancé. Alaina and Arnold have not announced their wedding day as of publication time on Monday (March 20).

Alaina was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in February 2022, by friend and mentor Trisha Yearwood. Parton said in a recorded message: “You and I have a lot in common. We both started young, we love country music and we love the Grand Ole Opry, and I’d give a million dollars if I could be there with Trisha and Garth (Brooks) and everyone who loves you to get you inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. I just want to wish you the best in your whole career.”

Yearwood also surprised Alaina on stage with an introduction to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry, where she has performed more than 50 times, beginning with her 2011 debut shortly after finishing rummer up on Season 10 of American Idol. Alaina said on her induction day: “Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of this moment. …God Bless you guys and God bless country music.”
