Free lunches for Greenville County Schools students extended

Greenville County Schools will now provide free school meals to all students for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year due to a recent USDA waiver.

There is no requirement to complete an application to receive this meal benefit. Breakfasts and lunches are available daily at all schools.

Parents who send their children to school with lunches brought from home can also take advantage of the opportunity to supplement their meals with free fruits, veggies and milk.

To qualify for these free supplemental healthy items, students must select at least three of the five meal components the district offers, and one must be a fruit or vegetable.
