Fake "Friends" Trailer Sends Fans Into A Frenzy

People have been clamoring for a “Friends” reunion movie for years. That’s why a fan-made trailer, which was posted to YouTube earlier this month, went viral. But now it can be told – the trailer was a fake.

It was a good one, though, with clips from previous shows edited together to look like Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross are actually back together. According to the description, it picks up a few years after the final season with Ross’ kids, Ben and Emma, all grown up.

For the record, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer have made it perfectly clear that they don’t want to revisit their “Friends” characters.
